Death Waltz records has the 2nd pressing of the John Carpenter’s score to The Fog available now!
Back in June, Death Waltz records released its first pressing for The Fog, from celebrated director/composer John Carpenter. The OST was released as a double vinyl album pressed on clear splatter wax, and limited to only 700 copies. The release not only included the original movie score as released in 1984, but also a bonus vinyl that included all of the original movie cues. This was the first time the movie cues were available on vinyl.
Not only that, Death Waltz upped the ante by commissioning renowned solo artist Dinos Chapman to design the cover art. Which, I have to say, is frighteningly beautiful.
Of course, the record sold out. I mean, what did you expect?
Luckily, Death Waltz has decided to release a second pressing of the soundtrack. This time, it will be pressed on gold vinyl. This pressing will be limited to only 1000 copies. If the sales of the first pressing were any indication, these will surely sell out.
