Shit Robot – Where It’s At // DFA Records [LTD To 500]

Shit Robot has released his new 12″, Where It’s At, via DFA Records.

Marcus Lambkin (aka Shit Robot) has released a new 12″ featuring Reggie Watts titled Where It’s At. It’s out today via DFA Records.

As Shit Robot, Marcus Lambkin has developed a reputation for absolutely fucking caning it when it comes to analog-sounding, body-moving house music. And, wouldn’t you have it, his latest collaboration with very capable musician and all-around funny guy Reggie Watts, “Where It’s At” (NOT A BECK COVER), is another hot-to-trot tune that charts a path through the glorious past of Midwestern dance music and sets its sights towards a hundred years in the future—at least, because this is what I imagine robots will be dancing to in the year 2115. -Larry Fitzmaurice // The Fader

Where It’s At is available on 12″ light-green vinyl, limited to 600 copies (500 Copies according to DFA’s newsletter). Alternatively, DFA also has a limited edition white label of Where It’s At pressed on black vinyl and limited to 100 copies.

Author Description

My vinyl obsession began with a few records that were given to me as a gift. Little did I know that this was the spark that would merge my impulsive habit of collecting things and love for music into my new passion. My claim to fame? Owning all of The Mars Volta's studio releases, including the infamous 'Frances the Mute' album pressed on glow-in-the-dark vinyl. I'm always on the lookout for the new stuff and lovingly embrace the classic stuff. I'm here to help you be on the forefront of this vinyl resurgence. Give me a shout on twitter!
