Modest Mouse – The Moon & Antarctica // Music On Vinyl [LTD To 500]

Music On Vinyl will reissue Modest Mouse’s The Moon & Antarctic on limited edition vinyl on April 27.

To celebrate the anniversary of Modest Mouse’s The Moon & Antarctica,¬†Music on Vinyl have announced that it will be releasing a remastered edition of the band’s third full-length.

The Moon & Antarctica will be pressed on 2xLP 180g transparent vinyl and limited to 500 copies. The album will feature printed innersleeves and features remastered audio.

Unfortunately, it looks like this is a Europe-only release. However, check with your local shops as they might be able to order this for you. Plenty of my local stores carry the Music On Vinyl releases, and they also come up on Amazon quite often. We’ll update this post as soon as it becomes available to purchase/pre-order online. (Shoot us an email if you find a link!)

UPDATE (3/17): You can pre-order The Moon & Antarctica via the shop New on Vinyl here. They ship from Europe, but the total cost of the album including shipping is only $32.97. Not too bad. Make sure you sign up for their newsletter to receive an additional 5% off!

Author Description

My vinyl obsession began with a few records that were given to me as a gift. Little did I know that this was the spark that would merge my impulsive habit of collecting things and love for music into my new passion. My claim to fame? Owning all of The Mars Volta's studio releases, including the infamous 'Frances the Mute' album pressed on glow-in-the-dark vinyl. I'm always on the lookout for the new stuff and lovingly embrace the classic stuff. I'm here to help you be on the forefront of this vinyl resurgence. Give me a shout on twitter!

Hi Claudio, fyi …looks like the New on Vinyl preorder has completely sold out. BUT, as NOV hasn’t the exclusive rights to sell 500
copies I tend to say that they probably just maxed out their quota. Other sites will
list this….and I will keep my eyes wiiiiiide open as I missed it too… Best, Nils.
