Menomena – Friend & Foe // Vinyl Me, Please

Vinyl Me, Please have announced Menomena’s Friend & Foe as their April featured LP.

Vinyl Me, Please have just unveiled that Menomena’s Friend & Foe will be their April Album of the Month. Friend & Foe is the third album by Portland, Oregon’s Menomena. It was originally released in 2007 via Barsuk Records.

During the last decade, Menomena has become its own reference point. From hooks wrapped around plummeting baritone saxophone lines and nearly inhuman rhythms to serpentine lyrical frameworks and high-concept album art, Menomena has established a singular and unmistakable aesthetic. They embed magic and mystery within pop songs that have never sat still or taken the path of least pressure. -Vinyl Me, Please

Friend & Foe will be pressed on 180g black vinyl, housed inside a six-panel gatefold cover, and features rotating front + cut outs for track listing and a VMP Edition Foil Stamp.

About The Author

My vinyl obsession began with a few records that were given to me as a gift. Little did I know that this was the spark that would merge my impulsive habit of collecting things and love for music into my new passion. My claim to fame? Owning all of The Mars Volta's studio releases, including the infamous 'Frances the Mute' album pressed on glow-in-the-dark vinyl. I'm always on the lookout for the new stuff and lovingly embrace the classic stuff. I'm here to help you be on the forefront of this vinyl resurgence. Give me a shout on twitter!
