Django Django’s second album Born Under Saturn is due out May 5th
Burn Under Saturn is the London based rock band’s second album, following their debut self titled release in 2012.
Django Django’s Born Under Saturn expands on the slippery, indefinable nature of their self-titled debut – applying all of it’s giddy art-rock imagination only this time across a much wider canvas. Throughout the album, Django Django continue to find magic in the unexplored spaces between musical genres – criss crossing house beats with clarinets, rock hooks with reggae drum lines.
The Ribbon Mart deluxe LP version of the album will come on 150gram orange with black smoke vinyl and housed in a gatefold jacket with printed inner sleeves. The orange and black smoke vinyl is limited to 500.
Pre-order the deluxe LP from Ribbon here.
There is also a Rough Trade exclusive version of the album if you’re Europe, or just want both variants. The Rough Trade versions will be orange splattered vinyl through Because. Although Rough Trade does not list the pressing quantity for their exclusive variant, I would guess it’s the same as the Ribbon Music deluxe lp pressing.
Pre-order the Rough Trade exclusive version, here.
