Blessed Feathers – There Will Be No Sad Tomorrow // Vinyl Me, Please

Vinyl Me, Please will release Blessed Feathers’ There Will Be No Sad Tomorrow as their October record of the month!

Vinyl Me, Please has announced Blessed Feathers’ sophomore album, There Will Be No Sad Tomorrow, as their October record of the month! This is the first ever unsigned act to be featured as part of the exclusive vinyl members club, allowing the artist exposure into the hands of thousands of music fans in over 40 countries worldwide.

A chance email from the husband/wife indie folk duo to Vinyl Me, Please earlier this year tipped off the founders to their incredible songwriting and entrancing personal narrative.  Previously highlighted on NPR’s Morning Edition, their story includes band member Donivan’s formation as a person and musician following a turbulent departure from his Jehovah’s Witness background. This coupled with the love story of his partner and bandmate Jacquelyn, and their two years spent homeless and playing shows came together to create a compelling hook.

Working with unsigned artists is so much fun for us… we get to introduce so many people to new music and when it’s something they’ve never heard of before, it’s that much more exciting. It’s great to be able to support artists we love too…they get paid real money and they’re able to continue to create music because of it. -Matt Fiedler, Vinyl Me, Please

There Will Be No Sad Tomorrow is pressed on 150g, purple opaque vinyl and is accompanied by a photo book with over 120 photos from the bands recent travels, an original 12” x 12” album-inspired art print by Massachusetts artist Nate Duval http://nateduval.com/ and a custom cocktail pairing bySarah Johnson, Head Mixologist, Flying Squirrel Bar Chattanooga, TN.

About The Author

My vinyl obsession began with a few records that were given to me as a gift. Little did I know that this was the spark that would merge my impulsive habit of collecting things and love for music into my new passion. My claim to fame? Owning all of The Mars Volta's studio releases, including the infamous 'Frances the Mute' album pressed on glow-in-the-dark vinyl. I'm always on the lookout for the new stuff and lovingly embrace the classic stuff. I'm here to help you be on the forefront of this vinyl resurgence. Give me a shout on twitter!
